I am running mailcow on a dedicated AWS server EC2 t2.small 2GB Memory and a separate AWS db.t2.micro 1GB Memory.
I do offer customers a customized version of RC as web mail, though most are not using it. Furthermore, per domain i generally only have one mail box.
While I can upgrade the servers easily I am wondering:
1) How many Mailboxes can Mailcow handle? I estimate that I will reach about 500. Disk space is no problem. If there are 500 users with multiple devices e.g. mobile, outlook that constantly poll for new mails.
2) Each domain I setup I need to create a new entry in the domains.txt e.g.
MAILCOW_HOST.MAILCOW_DOMAIN domain1 domain2 ....
How many domains can I add? Is 500 possible?
Can MailCow install handle that many? What about LetsEncrypt and SANs? If they can't handle more than 100 or so then what other options do we have?
Is it possible to add the domains 1-n one per line instead of having them all on the same line?
Thanks for any help on this
